Welcome to Unit 5! In this unit, we will talk about food. Let’s start by learning how to order food at a restaurant.

Taking an Order
If you work at a restaurant, you ask customers what they want like this:
Example
Are you ready to order?
What would you like?
Are you ready to order?

إذا كنت تعمل في مطعم، تسأل الزبائن عما يريدون بهذه الطريقة: “Are you ready to order?” (هل أنتم مستعدون للطلب؟) أو “What would you like?” (ماذا تريدون؟).

Making an Order
As a customer, you can say what you want in these ways:

Asking About the Menu
If you are not sure what to order, you can ask:

إذا لم تكن متأكدا مما تطلبه، يمكنك أن تسأل: “What do you recommend?” (بماذا تنصحني؟) أو “Is this dish spicy?” (هل هذا الطبق حار؟).

Finishing the Order
When you finish eating, you can say:
Example
That’s all, thank you.
Can I have the bill, please?

عندما تنتهي من الأكل، يمكنك أن تقول: “That’s all, thank you.” (هذا كل شيء، شكرا) أو “Can I have the bill, please?” (هل يمكنني الحصول على الفاتورة؟).
