The basic rights every person should have, just for being human.
"Every person deserves respect for their human rights."
FREEDOM OF SPEECH حرية التعبير
The right to say what you think without being punished.
"Freedom of speech allows people to share their opinions safely."
FREEDOM OF RELIGION حرية الدين
The right to choose and practice your own religion.
"Freedom of religion means everyone can practice their own beliefs."
RIGHT TO EDUCATION الحق في التعليم
The right for every person to go to school and learn.
"Every child has the right to education."
RIGHT TO HEALTHCARE الحق في الرعاية الصحية
The right for every person to receive medical care.
"The right to healthcare means everyone should be able to see a doctor."
EQUALITY المساواة
When everyone has the same rights and chances.
"Equality means treating everyone the same, no matter who they are."
JUSTICE العدالة
Fair treatment for everyone, especially by the law.
"People protested to demand justice for the victims."
DIGNITY الكرامة
The right to be respected and valued as a human being.
"Every person should be treated with dignity."
RIGHT TO VOTE حق التصويت
The right for citizens to choose their government.
"The right to vote lets citizens choose their leaders."
RIGHT TO WORK الحق في العمل
The right for every person to have a job and earn money fairly.
"The right to work means everyone should have a fair chance to earn a living."

DISCRIMINATION التمييز
Treating someone unfairly because of who they are.
"No one should face discrimination because of their religion."
OPPRESSION القمع
When a group of people is treated harshly and unfairly by those in power.
"The people fought against years of oppression."
INJUSTICE الظلم
A situation that is unfair.
"The trial was widely seen as an act of injustice."
SLAVERY العبودية
Forcing someone to work without freedom or payment.
"Slavery is now illegal in almost every country."
CHILD LABOR عمل الأطفال
When children are forced to work instead of studying.
"Child labor stops children from going to school."
TORTURE التعذيب
Causing someone severe pain on purpose, often to punish or scare them.
"International law strictly forbids torture."
PERSECUTION الاضطهاد
Being treated cruelly because of your beliefs, race, or identity.

EXPLOITATION الاستغلال
Using someone unfairly for your own benefit.

CENSORSHIP الرقابة
When information is controlled or blocked by authorities.
"Censorship prevents journalists from reporting freely."
HUMAN TRAFFICKING الاتجار بالبشر
Illegally moving and controlling people, often for forced work.
"Human trafficking is a serious crime around the world."

ACTIVIST ناشط
A person who works actively to create social or political change.
"The activist organized a march for equal rights."
HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDER مدافع عن حقوق الإنسان
A person who works to protect people’s basic rights.
"Human rights defenders often risk their own safety to help others."
UNITED NATIONS الأمم المتحدة
An international organization that works for peace and cooperation between countries.
"The United Nations works to protect human rights worldwide."
NGO منظمة غير حكومية
A non-government organization that works to help people or causes.
"Many NGOs work to protect human rights."
REFUGEE لاجئ
A person who leaves their country because of danger or persecution.
"The refugee left his country to escape the war."
VICTIM ضحية
A person who has been harmed by an unfair or cruel action.
"The organization supports victims of human rights abuses."
LAWYER محام
A person trained to help people with legal problems.
"The lawyer defended the family's rights in court."
COURT محكمة
A place where legal decisions are made.
"The case was brought before an international court."
GOVERNMENT الحكومة
The group of people who officially run a country.
"The government signed an agreement to protect workers' rights."
CITIZEN مواطن
A person who officially belongs to a country.
"Every citizen has the right to be treated fairly."

PROTEST احتجاج
A public event where people show they disagree with something.
"Thousands joined the protest for equal rights."
DEFEND RIGHTS الدفاع عن الحقوق
To protect and stand up for someone’s rights.
"Lawyers work hard to defend the rights of their clients."
RAISE AWARENESS رفع الوعي
To help people understand and know about a problem.
"The campaign helped raise awareness about child labor."
SIGN A PETITION التوقيع على عريضة
To officially add your name to a request for change.
"Thousands of people signed a petition to change the law."
FIGHT FOR النضال من أجل
To work hard to achieve or protect something.
"She has spent her life fighting for equal rights."
SUPPORT الدعم
Help and encouragement given to someone.
"The community showed support for the victims."
TOLERANCE التسامح
Accepting and respecting people who are different from you.
"Tolerance means accepting people who are different from you."
EMPATHY التعاطف
The ability to understand and share someone else’s feelings.
"Empathy helps us understand what others are going through."
SOLIDARITY التضامن
Support and unity between people who share the same goal.
"People showed solidarity with the refugees by donating supplies."

To publicly support and speak in favor of something.
