آسف، لا أوافق
A very polite way to disagree, even in formal talk.
"I'm afraid I disagree — uniforms limit self-expression."
I SEE IT DIFFERENTLY.
أرى الأمر بشكل مختلف
A polite way to say you have another opinion.
"I see it differently — I think working alone helps me focus."
I'M NOT SO SURE ABOUT THAT.
لست متأكدا من ذلك
A gentle way to show doubt without being rude.
"I'm not so sure about that — some students prefer mornings."
A quick tip on politeness
In English, disagreeing directly can sound rude — even if you don’t mean it that way. Words like “I’m afraid,” “I’m not so sure,” or “I see it differently” soften your disagreement and keep the conversation friendly. Avoid words like “wrong” or “no way” — they can sound aggressive, even in a normal school conversation.
