What Is a Letter of Advice?
A letter of advice responds to a friend who told you they don’t feel well. It shows you care, and it gives them helpful advice.
رسالة النصيحة ترد على صديق أخبرك أنه غير بخير. تُظهر أنك تهتم، وتقدم له نصيحة مفيدة. تتكون من 5 أجزاء: تحية، إظهار الأسف، نصيحة، جملة ختامية، توقيع.
Useful Phrases
Here are phrases that help you write a kind letter of advice:
Starting your letter with “I’m sorry to hear…” shows your friend that you really care about how they feel.
هذه عبارات تساعدك على كتابة رسالة نصيحة لطيفة: “I’m sorry to hear…” (آسف لسماع…)، “I think you should…” (أعتقد أنه يجب عليك…)، “Why don’t you try…?” (لماذا لا تجرب…؟).
A Model Letter
Read this example letter to a sick friend:
Dear Sara,
I’m sorry to hear you have a cold. I think you should rest and drink water. Why don’t you try some hot soup? Don’t forget to take your medicine!
I hope you feel better soon.
