Welcome to Unit 7! In this unit, we will talk about hobbies and free time. Let’s start by learning how to ask and talk about what we do for fun.

Asking About Hobbies
To ask someone about their hobby, we can say:

What do you do in your free time?What’s your hobby?
لسؤال شخص عن هوايته، نقول: “What do you do in your free time?” (ماذا تفعل في وقت فراغك؟) أو “What’s your hobby?” (ما هي هوايتك؟).

Talking About Your Hobby
To talk about your own hobby, we can say:

My hobby is football.
I love playing chess.

للحديث عن هوايتك، نقول: “My hobby is football” (هوايتي كرة القدم) أو “I love playing chess” (أحب لعب الشطرنج).

Asking How Often
We can also ask how often someone does their hobby:

How often do you play?
I play every weekend.

Remember adverbs of frequency from Unit 4 — you can also answer with “always,” “usually,” or “sometimes”!
